Hey Language Learners and Cuernavaca Dreamers! 👋

We just had to share a little slice of “La Eterna Primavera” (The City of Eternal Spring) magic with you! 🤩

Last night, as the sun dipped and a perfectly clear, slightly cool autumn evening settled over Cuernavaca, we took a little stroll near the heart of the city. And oh, were we rewarded!

We managed to snap a gorgeous photo of the iconic Palacio de Cortés looking absolutely stunning! 🌙 The palace, which has stood in this spot for nearly 500 years, looked regal as always, but it was the backdrop that stole the show: a glorious, nearly-full moon hanging right above it. Talk about a picture-perfect moment!

The whole atmosphere in the Plaza de Armas and the zócalo (main square) was just wonderfully chill. Lots of people were out enjoying the breeze, taking a leisurely walk to unwind, and just soaking up the easygoing Cuernavaca vibe.

And you know what no relaxing night out in Mexico is complete without? Street food! 🤤 We saw plenty of folks lining up for those irresistible nighttime treats. If you were there, you were probably grabbing a warm, buttery elote (grilled corn on the cob) or a cup of savory, creamy esquites (corn kernels in a cup with lime, chili, and cheese). Pure bliss!

It’s these little, tranquil moments that truly capture the spirit of living and learning Spanish here. Whether you’re here to master the subjunctive or just to master the art of chilling on a Tuesday night, Cuernavaca has a way of making you feel right at home.
