At Ideal Spanish Mexico, there are certain traditions that fill us with pride and joy. One of the most special is the visit from our group of German Volunteers, who choose us year after year for their adventure in Mexico. It’s a custom we’ve maintained for 12 years, and each time, we’re just as excited as if it were the first.

Over the past decade, we’ve had the honor of hosting them at both our Cuernavaca and Oaxaca campuses. They are incredible young people who come to Mexico to complete a year-long social service project in various parishes. They stay with us for a month to immerse themselves in the culture and, of course, perfect their Spanish.

Seeing them go from timid Spanish to fluid conversations in just a few weeks is our greatest reward. It’s a reminder of why we do what we do: we don’t just teach a language; we connect people, break down barriers, and create bonds that last forever.

So, to our German friends, we say: Welcome home! We hope this month with us is the start of an unforgettable adventure. We are ready to learn and grow together!
